If you love Eastville Park then you are a friend of Eastville Park!

We hold an open meeting 2-3 times a year to meet with other residents. This gives you a chance to meet other park users, chat about what you love or don’t love about the park, and how we can tackle problems together. We have a friendly facebook page for friends to chat, share photos, and join in with local events run by the committee team.

A sub- group of Friends of Royate Hill Local Nature Reserve (and Greenbank Cemetery) focussing on the upkeep, biodiversity, and history of Greenbank Cemetery.

This group is for interested residents to discuss ideas and share their knowledge, history and suggestions for Greenbank Cemetery.

People's University of Fishponds runs occasional talks and events that are aimed at being accessible, affordable and friendly. We do it because it's fun and interesting. Over the last three years we've had talks about history, psychology, gardening, orphanages, bats and philosophy. We've built and played unusual musical instruments, recorded a pop song and learnt how to conduct an orchestra.

Fishfest started off as a community festival in 2010. bringing together performers, creators, local food producers, schools, clubs and community groups. This became an annual event until 2017.

The team have since moved on to other events including Make Sunday Special in Fishponds, Party on the Ponds, The People's University of Fishponds, Fishponds Scarecrow Trail and Fishponds Emergency Disco nights.

What do you do with a chair when the leg has come loose? With a toaster that no longer works? Or a woollen jumper with moth holes? Toss it? No way! You can repair it at the Repair Café. Repair Cafes want to help reduce mountains of waste, help neighbours get in touch with each other in a new way, and show that a lot of know-how and practical skills can be found close to home!
